SPANISH FORT Adam Lavaughn Hollinger, age 86, a native of Uriah, AL and a long time resident of Spanish Fort, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010. Mr. Hollinger was a WWII veteran and he was a POW for 14 months in Germany. Adam was a proud member of the Inaugural Honor Flight. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Louise Hollinger. He is survived by his son, Dr. Faron L. Hollinger and his wife Marsha B., daughter, Peggy L. Hollinger all of Spanish Fort, two grandchildren, Jeremy Hollinger and his wife Brie of Mobile, Jonathan Hollinger and his wife Amber of Daphne, five great grandchildren, Jackson, Tyler, Ella, Alli and Ian, sister, Earnestine Lundy of Mobile, brother, Buster Hollinger of Uriah, AL, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Sunday, March 14, 2010, at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00pm until service time.
