Margaret Norris

FOLEY Margaret Norris, age 80, a native of Georgetown, Kentucky, and a resident of Foley, AL, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010. Mrs. Norris was a lifetime member of the Wesleyan Church. She was known for her cooking, hospitality and singing. She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Robert Norris, Sr. of Foley, AL; two daughters, Patricia Norris Lasyone and her husband Lew of Pineville, LA, and Barbara Norris Beam and her husband Jim of Foley, AL; three sons, Robert A. Norris, Jr. and his wife Judy of Thomasville, AL, Stephen D. Norris and his wife Joyce of Foley, AL, and Dan Norris of Foley, AL; eleven grandchildren, Michelle, Brian, Stephen, Scott and Layton Norris, Amy and David Lasyone, Beth Young, Charlotte Palmero, Andrea and Jonathan Norris; fourteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Miller and her husband Sanford of Summerdale, AL, and Mary Norris and her husband Wesley of Foley, AL; brother, Martin “Buggs” Campbell and his wife Debby of College Town, PA. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 14, 2010, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, AL. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 15, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at the Wesleyan Church, Magnolia Springs, AL. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
