Elbert Hickey

GULF SHORES Elbert D. Hickey, age 75, a resident of Gulf Shores, AL, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Mr. Hickey is survived by his wife of fifty years, Bobbye Ellingburg Hickey of Gulf Shores, AL; sons, Scott E. Hickey and his wife Cara of Greenwood, AR, and John Mark Hickey and his wife Shana of Brandon, MS; daughter, Lisa Hickey Bullock of Gulf Shores, AL; eight grandchildren, Megan, Merri Scott, Forrest, Haley, Lauren, Jessica, Justin and Brandy; sister, Maxine Fox of Grenada, MS; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Hickey was a member of the Clarksdale Elks Lodge # 977, and a former member of the Clarksdale Country Club and the Coahoma County Country Club. He retired from Helena Chemical Company. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
