James Calvin McClure

MCCLURE James "Jim" Calvin McClure, Age 81 a native of Mississippi and a resident of Fairhope, AL., died on Friday, February 19, 2010 at a local hospital. Mr. McClure was a member of various civic and social organizations and served in the Navy during WWII. Mr. McClure spent his working career with the Gulf, Mobile & Ohio Railroad, which later became the Illinois Central Gulf. He is survived by his wife, Dot McClure; one son, Steve (Susan) McClure ; one grandson, Christian McClure all of Fairhope, AL; two brothers, Bob McClure of Vicksburg, MS and Gene McClure of Ackerman, MS; one sister, Pauline Colle of Houston, TX; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope from 5:00PM until 7:00PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Fairhope United Methodist Church at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Caring Ministries of the Fairhope United Methodist Church, 155 So.
