Joseph Muttia Mwanzia

MOBILEJoseph Muttia Mwanzia passed away suddenly Monday, January 4, 2010 in Chickasaw. He was born January 23, 1978 in Nairobi, Kenya. Joseph was a student at Bishop State Community College. He is survived by his father, Julius Mwanzia Muttia; mother, Phebe Muttia; sister, Patricia Mwikali; brother, Jonathan Mutua; five uncles; Daniel Muttia, Japheth Muttia, Japheth Muthangya, Alijah Muthangya, Mwaniki Muthangya,; two aunts, Mbete Muttia, Suzanne Litu Muttia, all of Nairobi, Kenya A visitation will be held Saturday, January 16, 2010 from 6-8 pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. Arrangements are being made to transfer Joseph to his home in Nairobi, Kenya. The body will remain at Lee Funeral Home after which he will be laid to rest on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at his parents home in Mwingi District, Kenya, East Africa. Donations will be highly appreciated of any amount to assist with the cost of preparing and transporting Joseph back to Kenya. These donations may be made during the visitation hours. Needless to say, Joseph will be missed by his already grieving family, schoolmates and friends, both in the U.S. and Kenya.
