Eleanor Callaway Lauder

HOOVER Mrs. Eleanor Callaway Lauder, age 96, a native of Orange Beach, AL, and a resident of Hoover, AL, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2010. She was a former resident of Orange Beach, AL. She was a Charter Member of the Orange Beach Baptist Church, Director of Bible School, and Sunday School Superintendent. She drove the school bus from Orange Beach to Foley for thirty-two years. She was active in the formation of the Orange Beach Community Center. Mrs. Lauder is survived by her two daughters, Marie Lauder (Ted) Teague of Hoover, AL, and Marian Lauder Richburg of Panama City, FL; two brothers, David (Marie) Callaway of Pensacola, FL, and Macklin (Jackie) Callaway of Foley, AL; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 11:00am, at the First Baptist Church Of Orange Beach. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
