SPANISH FORT Charles Curtis Johnson, A father, a fisherman, deer hunter , Alcoa retiree, a proud man and a fearless kid. Charles Curtis Johnson, also known as Catfish, was known and loved by many, age 78, quietly passed into eternity on Feb. 8, 2010. Charles was born in Uriah, Alabama and moved to Spanish Fort in 1957 with his bride, Lois Marie Johnson , wife of 58 plus years .He will now be laid to rest in the red clay of Baldwin County that he loved so much on Thursday morning.Charles will lie in state at the Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne between the hours of 6-8 pm Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Funeral Services to be held at First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort, Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 11 am. Charles will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.He will be laid to rest at Wilson Cemetery down the road from the family homeHe is survived by his wife, Lois, and children Danny Johnson, (Suzy) , Randall Johnson, Karen Restrepo, Gwendolyn Green and Brandy Johnson; grandchildren Kristy, Sandy, Danny II, Ryan, Jeremy, Brandy, Michael. and Great Grand Children Jobey, Garrek, Elijah, Penelope and Jude . His children will never forget how hard he worked in this life for his family, what a special loving Christian father and Cherished friend he was.
