Daniel Edward Kelliher

FAIRHOPE, ALDaniel Edward Kelliher, age 78, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017.He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Margaret Kelliher; brothers, Paul, Dick, and Tom Kelliher.He is survived by his sons, Dan Kelliher Jr. and Patrick Kelliher, both of San Francisco, CA; other loving relatives and friends.Daniel was born in Brooklyn New York and raised in Garden City, Long Island, Daniel obtained a Master’s degree in History from Long Island University (LIU Post). After moving to San Francisco in the late 60’s, Daniel met Mary Margaret Ollinger. They married and raised a family in Foster City California. After retiring in 2001, Daniel and Mary moved to Fairhope where they lived out their golden years enjoying a rich social life with friends and family. A devout Catholic, Daniel was a member of the St. Lawrence choir. Daniel was a skilled cook, loved to entertain, and had a wry sense of humor.Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
