ORANGE BEACH, ALMichele L. Gaydorus (nee McNulty) of Orange Beach, AL, passed peacefully on March 1, 2017 after a long illness with her devoted husband Frank at her side.Michele was born August 29, 1943 in Buffalo, NY. Her family moved and settled in Binghamton, NY, where as a teen she studied ballet and graduated from St. Patrick’s High School. She met and married Frank J. Gaydorus at St. James Church in Binghamton, NY in June 1961. She attended Broome Community College, studying dental hygiene. Upon graduating Michele immediately began work as a hygienist, first in Binghamton and then continuing her career at the Syracuse Developmental Center for several years, and again in Atlanta, GA, where she and Frank relocated in 1990. Michele earned her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Washington Seattle in 1981.She was also an antique dealer and antique jewelry appraiser, and was a wealth of knowledge on both subjects. Michele was a gifted watercolorist, a skill she inherited from her father, Leo. She loved painting, reading, gardening, and traveling with Frank.Incredibly fearless, Michele was an accomplished swimmer and loved diving in the Tropics. She is fondly remembered as an intelligent, quick witted, funny, energetic, and generous woman. Her family will hold her in their hearts forever. Michele is predeceased by her mother, Winifred Webster. Father, Leo McNulty, and brother, Bradley Webster. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Frank; children, Gail M. Williams and her husband Tim of Duluth, GA, Grant M. Gaydorus of Foley, AL, and his wife Winni, who lovingly cared for Michele for the last several years, granddaughters Tessa and Leah Williams, and great granddaughter Ariella.Services: Wolfe-Bayview, 2551 S.
