FAIRHOPE, ALOwen Curtis Kimes, age 76, a native of IL and a resident of Fairhope, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017.He was a US Army Veteran of the Viet Nam War and worked for 30 years at Norfolk Southern Railroad.Curt is preceded in death by his first wife of 26 years, Joyce Kimes, his parents Ford and Helen Kimes and one brother, Leroy Kimes.He is survived by his wife, Carol B. Kimes of Mobile, AL; daughter, Rhonda (Mike) Cunningham of Fairhope, AL; son, Rodney Kimes of IL; step-children, Jeff (Corbie) Pierce of Powder Springs, GA, Shane (Melisa) Pierce of Mobile, AL, Farrah (Rob) Patti of Marietta, GA; grandchildren: Morgan and Maren Cunningham, Alexa Pierce, McKenna Leapley and Shea Pierce, Collin and Eva Pierce, Elle and Ansley Patti; brother, Jack (Peg) Kimes of Rockford, IL; several nieces and nephews.A celebration of Curt’s life will be held, Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to William F.
