Jack Wilfred Snyder

FAIRHOPE, AL Jack W. Snyder, age 85, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017. He was an under graduate at Catawba College in Salisbury, NC and received his master’s from Florida State and Auburn University. He was a basketball coach, and high school teacher at Stanhope Elmore in Millbrook, AL. Jack was a member of the Elks Lodge and Kiwanis International Club. He is survived by his son, Jack J. Snyder (Gretchen) of Suwanee, GA; daughter, Michelle S. Jackson, MD of Fairhope; grandchildren, Abigail L. Snyder and Finley H. Jackson; other loving relatives and friends. A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held Friday, January 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
