Virginia Ann Sokolowski

DAPHNE, AL Virginia Ann Sokolowski, age 80, a native of Battle Creek, Michigan and a resident of Daphne, AL. passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016. Virginia served her country as a Lieutenant in the US Navy, a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, was a GS12-Retired-Civil Service, she loved to travel and enjoyed time in her home and in Italy. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Lawrence Sokolowski of Daphne, AL.; daughter, Heather M. (Robert S.) Urias and son, Dean R. (Sabrina M.) Sokolowski all of Mobile, AL.; 3 grandchildren, Tyler Garside, Arianna Sokolowski, Joshua Sokolowski; niece, Ginger (Frank) Mayberry of Battle Creek, MI., a host of other loving relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne.   Her family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until service time at the funeral home.  Interment will be held at 1:15 PM at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.ARRANGEMENTS BY:WOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES& CREMATORY, INC.27409 U.
