Russell "Rusty" Joseph Cortright Cowles

FAIRHOPE, AL   Russell Joseph Cortright Cowles, “Rusty” age 10, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016. Rusty was an altar server and member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Rusty attended and played football for Christ the King Catholic School. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and farming. He is survived by his parents, Gary and Terri Cowles; three siblings, George Robert Cowles, Edward Dreaper Cowles and Marguerite Teresa Cowles; paternal grandmother, Joan Cortright Cowles, all of Fairhope; maternal grandmother, Tena York of Sylacauga and numerous other loving relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. A Rosary Service will begin at 9:00 am. The family will receive friends following the rosary. Interment will be at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
