Edna R. McNeeley

BAY MINETTE, AL. Edna R. McNeeley, age 87, a resident of Bay Minette passed away Monday, December 12, 2016. Edna was a long time member of Durant Chapel Baptist Church and a life time member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Toulmin Lodge #455. She retired from Civil Service after 27 years of service in aircraft maintenance.             She is preceded in death by her husband, James (Buck) McNeeley, two daughters, Carol Jackson and Charlotte Rorex, two sons, Danny Harcey and Charles Wesley Harcey. She is survived by her children, David Harcey of Mobile,AL., Anne Allen (Tom) of Gulf Breeze, FL., Robin Harcey (Marcie) of Pine Mountain, GA., Frances Durrance (Steve) of Troutville, VA and Glindon McNeeley (Beth) of Mobile, AL. She has 23 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 32 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great-grandchild; 2 sisters, Betty Bailey of Bay Minette, AL., and Janie Fredrickson of Birmingham, AL. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Durant Chapel Baptist Church in Bay Minette, AL. Mrs. Edna will lie-in-state one hour prior to service time. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Pallbearers are Chris Allen, Jon-David Harcey, Matthew Jackson, Gary Booze, Scotty Adams and Barry Fredrickson. Honorary pallbearers are Preston Harcey, Blake Harcey, Buddy Boden and Jimmy Lawrence.
