She is survived by her sisters; Linda Doege, Patricia Shumate, brothers; Gene and Dennis Shumate;  nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends, including her caregiver, Susan Horton. Funeral services will be held at the New Life in Christ Church, Foley, AL. Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 10:00am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley, AL.
