Carol Sutherland Chadwick

FAIRHOPE, AL Carol Jean Sutherland Chadwick, age 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 27, 2016. She worked at the Birmingham News until retirement. She was a life time member of the Church of the Advent Episcopal Church and Lake Forest Garden Club of Birmingham. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Radney Chadwick; her parents; and her brother, Clyde Sutherland. She is survived by her son, John Radney Chadwick, Jr. (Betsy) of Fairhope; three grandchildren, Margaret Chadwick Gambino (Adam) of Fairhope, John Radney Chadwick III (Sarah) of Chickasaw, and Elizabeth Shelby Chadwick of Silverhill; great grandchildren, William Chadwick, Caroline Chadwick, Mason Chadwick, and Finlay Paul Gambino.
