ORANGE BEACH Bernard Busby “B.B.” Barnes, age 82, a native of Frisco City and a resident of Orange Beach, died Sunday, October 30, 2016. B.B. was a veteran and served his country as a member of the Army National Guard.  He retired from Vanity Fair in Monroeville where he was a millworker/supervisor and worked part-time at Winn-Dixie in Orange Beach.  B.B. was a member of Frisco City United Methodist Church and later transferred to Orange Beach United Methodist Church. He was preceded his death by his daughter, Karen Barnes. B.B. is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Wilda Barnes of Orange Beach; daughter: Sherry (Eric) Jung of Gulf Shores; Grandchildren: Tyler and Conner Jung, Samantha Bowen and Amy (Matt) Ellard; Great Grandchildren: Owen and Mattie Mae Ellard; along with a host of beloved relatives and friends. A Celebration Service of B.B.’s life will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Orange Beach United Methodist Church.  His family will receive friends in the Brooks Hall at the church after the memorial service.
