Ora McNaughton Cone

Ora McNaughton Cone passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in Ponte Vedra, Florida at the age of 88. She was a native of Greenville, Alabama, a resident of Spanish Fort, Alabama for many years and a resident of Ponte Vedre, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward E. Cone, Sr. and a son, Edward Earl “Eddie” Cone, Jr. She loved gardening, her family, grandchildren and her community. Mrs. Cone is survived by he daughter Barbara Sanders of Ponte Vedra, Florida; three granddaughters, Kim Rogers (Ryan Rogers) of Ponte Vedra, Florida, Kendal Schoepfer (Jason Schoepfer) of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and Emma Cone of Utah. She is also survived by three great- grandchildren, Kailey Rogers, Cameron Rogers, and Avery Rogers; brother, Clifford McNaughton of Spanish Fort and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne, Alabama. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 PM from the Chapel of the funeral home. Private interment will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort, P. O. Box 711, Spanish Fort, Alabama 36577.
