Bettye Olgetree Brown

Gulf Shores, ALBetty Sue Brown, age 85, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016 in Robertsdale. Mrs. Brown taught in the Elberta Public School System for 25 years. She was a member of Lagoon Baptist Church, where her late husband pastored from 1962-1964. Betty will be remembered for being a kind, generous and the sweetest person on earth. Her sense of humor will be missed by all those who knew her. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Brown and a grandson, Joshua O. Ivey. She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne (Johnny) Wallace of Gulf Shores, Deborah (Tim) Ivey of Lancaster, SC; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Funeral services will be Monday, October 10, 2016 at 11:00 am at Lagoon Baptist Church, The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Wallace Cemetery.
