Robert Carroll Beecroft

FOLEY, AL Robert Carroll Beecroft, age 86, a native of Columbus, Nebraska and a resident of Foley, Al., passed away Monday, September 26, 2016. Robert was an Educator in the Sault State Marie, MI Public Schools and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a believer in the Lord Jesus. Loved people and was a generous man that loved his job. He was a life time member of the Elks Lodge 552. Robert never meet a stranger, he will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruth Barnes Beecroft of Foley, Al., one son; Bill (Sharon) Beecroft of Nashville, TN., one daughter; Carole Beecroft (Allen) Lewis of Elberta, AL, three grandchildren; Daniel, Mary, Ryan and many other nieces, nephews and friends. A Graveside service will be held from Lay Cemetery, Wednesday, September 28, 23016 at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donation be made to the Boys Town, Nebraska, 14100 Crawford Street, Boys Town, NE 68010.
