John Marcus "Red" Smith

FAIRHOPE, AL John Marcus “Red” Smith, age 79, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016. He is preceded in death by a son, Sidney Paul Smith. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Smith of Fairhope; daughter, Patricia (Tommy) Woolf of Belmont, NC; son, Mark (Tonya) Smith of Semmes, AL; step daughters, Angela (Brent) Chandler of Birmingham and Amy (John) Boyce of Semmes; step sons, Michael Mallory of Mobile and Chuck Mallory of Bay Minette; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; sister, Margaret (Donald) Newby of Brewton, AL; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the time of service.
