James Willard Callaway

GULF SHORES, AL James Willard Callaway, age 78, a resident of Gulf Shores, Al, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Willard Callaway, a granddaughter, Savannah Callaway. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sue Callaway of Gulf Shores, one daughter; Sondra Callaway (Mitch) Williamson of Houston, TX, three sons; Jimmy (Elise) Callaway of Gulf Shores, Matthew (Fay) Callaway of Montgomery and Eric Callaway of Robertsdale, eight grandchildren; Mary-Mitchell Sanders, Callaway Williamson, Joseph, Dakota, Daniel, Elizabeth, David and Raquel Callaway, one great grandson Shepherd Sanders, sister; Mary Lee (Freddie) Buskens of Overstreet, FL., and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from Lagoon Baptist Church, Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm Funeral service will be held from Lagoon Baptist Church, Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11:00am with Reverend Fred Grady officiating the service.
