FAIRHOPE, AL Bobbi Jean Moskot, age 84, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Mercy Medical in Daphne. Bobbi was born in Corpus Christie, TX in 1932. She lived in Greenville, AL throughout her high school years. She attended Auburn University, where she majored in English and minored in art and later received her master’s degree in English at Florida State University. She taught high school English in Greenville, AL and Sebring, FL. After moving to St. Petersburg, FL, she became a nursing home administrator and later the co-owner and administrator of a physical therapy business, “The Wounded Knee”, along with her partner, B. Bradford. She was one of the founding members of the Krew of the Mullet Mates. She also founded “Tail Chasers”, a shelter for cats. Bobbi was a sculptor, mixed media artist and a member of ESAA for many years. She loved cooking, working in her garden, music, books and modern dance. She led a full life, touched the hearts of countless people and loved animals dearly. She will be missed deeply. She is survived by her partner of 46 years, Barbara Bradford; two daughters, Melody Mone` Moskot of Fairhope and Rayda (John) Kantaskas of St. Petersburg, FL; three grandchildren, Danita, Derek and Travis Kantaskas; six great grandchildren; her two dogs, Peter and Paul and many other loving relatives and friends. A celebration of life memorial service will be hosted by Sally and Mike McPeak of Fairhope. Details will be announced on social media in the near future.
