Nydia Leon Villar

DAPHNE Nydia Leon Villar, 73, died August 11, 2016 at USA Medical Center in Mobile, AL after a short illness. Nydia was born on January 28, 1943 in Peru.  She was the oldest of five children.  Nydia came to live in Mobile, AL. back in 199l from Lima, Peru. She was preceded in death by her father Orestes Leon. She will be remembered for her strong will, unwavering faith in God, and the love for her family and friends.  Nydia is survived by her mother Luz M. Leon, brother Orestes Leon II (Josefa) and three sisters; Fanny Quesada, Maria Davis (Bill) and Carmen Puente (Carlos). She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives. Visitation will be Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. A Mass to celebrate her life will be held Monday, August 15 at 1 PM at Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne, AL.   Interment will be in Lima, Peru.
