Robert Allen Bordelon

LILLIAN, AL Robert Allen Bordelon, age 64, a resident of Lillian, AL, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, July 23, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Helen Bordelon and brother Christopher. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Phyllis L. Bordelon of Lillian, stepsons Christopher and Kenneth Crooke of Pensacola, Fl, brother Gene Bordelon, sisters Beryl Bordelon Laird and Kathyrn Bordelon Jones of Diamondhead, Ms., and numerous other family members, friends and neighbors. Born in Hammond, La., he held a BS degree in Industrial Technology and worked in Computers and Information Technology for 30 years. He enjoyed working in his yard, playing piano,and listening to music. He loved being with family and friends. May he rest in God's care. A Celebration of Robert's Life will be held from St Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, Foley, Al. Friday August 5, 2016 at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to Joyce Goldenberg Hospice, 10075 Hillview Drive, Pensacola, FL 32514 or to Covenant Hospice, 8383 N Davis Hwy, Pensacola, FL 32514.
