Elizabeth Wiggins Ketchem

FAIRHOPE, AL Elizabeth Wiggins Ketchem, age 45, of Fairhope, AL, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Elizabeth graduated from Vestavia Hills High School in 1988 and the University of Alabama in 1992. Elizabeth and her husband of 18 years, David, moved to Fairhope in 2000, where they have raised their two children Abigail, 16, and David, Jr., 15. She loved fashion jewelry and shoes. She owned and operated Abigail’s Closet in downtown Fairhope. She is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Abigail; son, David, Jr. all of Fairhope; parents, Edward Lawton Wiggins and Judy Harris Wiggins of Vestavia Hills, AL; sister, Mary Wiggins Balch (Michael) of Madison, AL; sisters-in-law, Cindy Dykes of Hartford, AL; Debra Jones (Russell) of Dothan, AL; Jennifer Sellers (James) of Bonifay, FL; devoted mother-in-law, Christine Ketchem of Hartford, AL; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Fairhope. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
