Everette Winford Barnette, Sr.

FAIRHOPE, AL Everette Winford Barnette, Sr., age 83, a native of Suttle, AL and a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016. Mr. Barnette was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He worked at Gulf Oil for 28 years and Merritt Oil for 26 years. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Barnette of Fairhope, AL; four children, Cecilia Muzik of Atlanta, GA, Everette “Winn” (Sharon) Barnette of Fairhope, AL, Katherine “Kathy” (Glenn) Barr of Daphne, AL, Dailey (Chris) Wilkinson of Fairhope, AL; sixteen grandchildren, Martin Muzik, Cullen Muzik, Reed Barnette, Taylor Barnette, Maura Barnette, Bennett Barr, Katherine Barr, Robert Barr, Murphy Barr, Clay Barr, Gantt Wilkinson, Luke Wilkinson, Luci Wilkinson, Jack Wilkinson, John Ben Wilkinson, “Baby” Wilkinson; sister, Judith Webb of Evergreen, AL; brother, Nelson (Nell) Barnette of Daphne; many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at 11:00am. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00am until the time of service.
