Jesse Lafayette Bedgood

SUMMERDALE, AL Jesse Lafayette Bedgood, Jr., age 76, a native of Pensacola, FL, a longtime resident of Citronelle, AL and a current resident of Summerdale, AL, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016. Mr. Bedgood retired from Mobil Oil. He was a 32nd degree Mason at the Citronelle Lodge #637 and a Abba Temple Jappa Shriner. Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Bedgood, Sr.; mother, Mary Elizabeth Grandquest; sister, Geraldine Bedgood; and brother, Rusty Bedgood. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Pat Bedgood of Summerdale, AL; sons, Ken (Marscella) Bedgood of Summerdale, AL, Rick (Patty) Bedgood of Citronelle, AL, Jay (Michelle) Bedgood of Tibbie, AL, Michael (Jennifer) Bedgood of Summerdale, AL; daughters, Janice Bedgood (Danny) Roberts of Citronelle, AL; Janet Bedgood (David) Terry of Biloxi, MS; brothers, Harry (Edna) Bedgood, Steve (Rhonda) Bedgood, J. P. Grandquest; sister, Nora Bedgood (Tom) Garney; thirteen grandchildren, Kenneth, Shaun, Stephanie, Jessica, Daniel, Kristy, Kevin, Dustin, Sydney, Kaitlyn, Ches, Camryn, Connor; thirteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  A Celebration of life memorial service will be held from Bethel Baptist Church in Citronelle, Friday, May 27, 2016, at 7:00pm.
