FAIRHOPE Scott DeWitt Morrow, age 55, born in Gulfport, MS. and a resident of Fairhope, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016 at his residence. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, where he was on the Garden of the Resurrection Committee and served on the Vestry. Scott graduated from Opp High School, attended the University of South Alabama, Auburn University and Bishop State. He received a degree in Nursing and spent his nursing career in New Orleans. He returned to Alabama and was the owner of Danny’s Fried Chicken in Robertsdale and Fairhope. Scott is preceded in death by his mother, Betty June Morrow. Scott is survived by his husband, Charles Joey McPherson, son, Esteban Thack Morrow Reece, both of Fairhope; father and stepmother, Borden and Marcie Morrow of Daphne; brother, Bryan Borden Morrow, Jr. of Melbourne, FL.; 3 sisters, Tracie Knight, Laura Gibson both of Daphne, Karen Savage of Birmingham; numerous loving nieces, relatives and friends. A Celebration of Scott’s Life will be held at Monday, May 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Daphne. A reception will be held in Malone Hall, 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Building Fund or to the Charity of your choice.
