Arnold Hedlund

FAIRHOPE, AL Arnold Hedlund, age 90, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016. Mr. Hedlund was a graduate of the University of Maine.  He worked for many years with the U. S. Forest Service before retiring in 1982.  Arnold was a former resident of Gulf Port, MS, New Orleans, LA, Surrey, MA and Gouldsboro, MA. Arnold was preceded in death by his son, Colin Hedlund of New Orleans.  He is survived by his wife, Ida Hedlund of Fairhope; four grandchildren, Scott (Jacque) Hedlund of New Orleans, Greg Hedlund of New Orleans, Ryan (Kathryn) Hedlund of Mobile, Christy (Stefan) Benoit of Baton Rouge; one great grandson, Theo Hedlund; and one daughter-in-law, Mollie Hedlund of New Orleans. The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Tuesday, March 29, 2016, from 1:00pm until 3:00pm.
