Peggy Headrick

FAIRHOPE, AL. Peggy Christian Headrick, Age 79, a native of Georgia and a resident of Fairhope, AL passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016. She was an aviator, real estate developer, a restaurant and retail grocery store owner, an accomplished artist, an avid traveler and an award winning equestrian. She had a real zest for life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Theo and Norine Christian, a brother, Edward Christian, sisters, Barbara Voyles and Ruth Pace. Survivors include her husband, Robert A. Headrick; a daughter, Candace H. Johnson both of Fairhope, AL; two sons, Robert A. Headrick, Jr. (Gail) of Mobile, AL and Ronald A. Headrick (Leigh) of Jacksonville, FL; niece, Sandra; great niece, Mary; four grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Wolfe Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. The family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
