Walter Dee Bailey

Fairhope, AL Ret. Col. Walter Dee Bailey, age 89, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016. He was a retired Colonel in the US Army Intelligence. Col. Bailey attended Command General Staff College, Mississippi State and the University of Florida. He served our Country proudly. He is survived by his wife Sarah Bailey; son, Timothy Bruce Bailey, both of Fairhope, AL; daughter, Cynthia Lea Bailey Peters of Spokane, WA; granddaughter, Amanda Lynn Bailey; many other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 10:00am. The family will receive friends at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
