David Hall Stuart

MOBILE, AL. Mr. David Hall Stuart, a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama, departed this life on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. David was born in Tampa, Florida, December 9th, 1943 into a military family who settled in Mobile after many years of traveling the world in service. David had been a confirmed member of L’Arche Mobile for over 24 years, living at House 201, where he will be missed greatly by his friends. He was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church before transferring to the All Saint’s Episcopal Church community where he served as acolyte. David was preceded in death by his father, James Gordon Stuart, his mother, Elise Hall Stuart, brothers, James Gordon Stuart, Jr. and Charles Edwin Stuart. Survivors include his nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and his many friends including his housemates at L’Arche Mobile. Burial Rite with Holy Eucharist well be celebrated from All Saint’s Episcopal Church on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to L’Arche Mobile, 151 So.
