Vercial Bray

FAIRHOPE, ALVercial Reece Bray, age 93, a native of McCullough, AL and a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016.Mr. Bray retired from Brookley Field in 1969 as an electrician. He was a life time member of the VFW and the American Legion.Vercial was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Bray; brothers, Vernon Bray and Lealand Bray; sisters, Edwina Bray Smith and Erin Bray Elkins.He is survived by his wife, Madge Evans Bray of Fairhope;three children, Bennie M. (Stephanie) Bray of Dallas, TX,Alan M. (Stacey) Bray of Mobile, AL,Cheryl Bray of Daphne, AL;two brothers, Samuel A. (Joyce) Bray of Columbus, MS,Raymon B. (Clara) Bray of Foley, AL;two sisters, Carolyn Hayes of Loxley, AL,Elaine Bray Dobson of Douglasville, GA;four grandchildren, Chad, Alexis, Taylor and Chandler;nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, AL, Monday, February 29, 2016, from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.Graveside services and interment will be held Monday, February 29, 2016, at 3:00pm, in Jubilee Memorial Gardens, Daphne, AL.The family would especially like to thank the nurses and staff of Thomas Hospital MICU, Dr. Coleman, Dr. Eves, Kindred Hospice nurses, Jenni and Faith, Right at Home Caregivers, Neal, Charletta and Yadeeyah,and the entire staff at Westminster Village.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
