Elizabeth Penton

GREENVILLE, ALThellie Elizabeth Park Penton, age 89, a resident of Greenville, AL, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother. She was born in Empire, AL, but resided most of her life in Montgomery, AL, until she moved to Greenville in 2014. She had a passion for gardening and enjoyed sharing this with her grandchildren. Many memorable times were spent at their lake house on Lake Jordan boating and fishing with family and friends. She had a great love for dancing and square dancing and listening to music. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Milton Park; her parents, James Howard and Indolia Robbins Tucker; her brother, Vernon Tucker; great grandson, Lukas Seamon. She is survived by her daughters, H. Elizabeth Wood (Steve), Janice E. Waters; son, James H. Park; five granddaughters, Elizabeth Jolly (William), Virginia McGuigan (David), Jeannie Rudder (Jimmy), Teresa Wallace (Shannon) and Elizabeth Seamon (Keith); twelve great grandchildren, Stephen Jolly (Tiffany), Elizabeth Kropp (Josh), Robert McGuigan, Madeline Bryan (Garrett), Huey Rudder, Cody Moses, William Moses, Jacob Wallace & Beau Wallace, Loren Seamon, Logan Seamon & Layne Seamon; two great, great grandchildren, William Kropp and Eric Kropp. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 22, 2016,at 11:30 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery with Reverend Winston Brooks officiating.
