Enno August Schoenhardt, Jr.

SPANISH FORT Enno August Schoenhardt, Jr., age 92, a native of New Orleans, LA. and a resident of Spanish Fort, AL passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Enno was a veteran of the US Navy, serving during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was City Chemist for the city of New Orleans for 28 years and a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Daphne. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Sadler Schoenhardt. Enno is survived by his daughters, Linda S. (Clark) Hall of Spanish Fort, AL, Cynthia S. (Rev. Gary) Peterson of Prairieville, LA.; 3 grandchildren: Jeffrey C. Hall of Guangzhou, China, Kristen C. Hall of Spanish Fort, AL., Dylan C. Peterson of Prairieville, LA.; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held, Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Ascension Lutheran Church in Daphne, AL Graveside services will be held, Monday, February 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Lake Lawn Cemetery, New Orleans, LA. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Westminster Village, Spanish Fort, AL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ascension Lutheran Church, 8888 Co.
