Perry Nelson

Perry Stephen Nelson, age 55, lifelong resident of Fairhope, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016. Perry retired from Halliburton after 35 years of service. He was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan and loved playing chess. Perry will be remembered for living life to the fullest. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Judy Nelson of Fairhope; two daughters, Kasha Nelson of Denver, CO, Jan Nelson-Geldart; three sons, Robert Kerr, Michael Kerr, Douglas Kerr; two sisters, Tracy Gillespie, Tina Wilkes, all of Fairhope; parents, Robert and Margaret Nelson of Fairhope; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends. A Celebration of Perry’s Life will be held Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
