Anna Donaldson

Anna Catherine Hawkins Donaldson, age 76, a resident of Fairhope, passed away Monday, October 26th, 2015. Mrs. Donaldson was a nursing instructor for many years at Mobile College and Providence School of Nursing. She also served as a school nurse with the Baldwin County School Board. Anna was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Fairhope and was a member of the Grace Bible Class. She was blessed with a heart transplant in 1998. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, William L. “Bill” Donaldson; 1 daughter, Beth Donaldson (Phillip) Gilley; 2 sons, William Scott (Beth) Donaldson, Michael Andrew (Gail) Donaldson; 6 grandchildren, Alexander Hill and Robert Scott Donaldson, Sarah Beth and Phillip Grant Gilley, Emma Douglas and Ava Lacey Donaldson; 2 sisters, Mary Ester Hawkins Smith, Jean Sue Hawkins Malec; numerous nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Thursday, October 29th, 2015, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held from the First Baptist Church of Fairhope, Friday, October 30th, 2015, at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley, AL.
