John Leake Thomas, Sr.

Daphne John Leake Thomas, Sr., Age 80, a native of Oakman, AL and a resident of Daphne, AL passed away at home Wednesday, August 19, 2015. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Thomas is preceded in death by a son, John L. Thomas, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Annette Thomas of Daphne, AL; one daughter, Jennifer (Terry) Conover of New Albany, MS; one daughter-in-law, Beth Rook Thomas of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, Tyler and his wife Kirstan, Jason, Jessica and her husband Nathan; two great grandchildren, Bailey Broner and Aiden Culpepper. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 2:00pm at Jubilee Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:30pm until time of the service.
