Philip Edmond Richmond, Jr, age 86, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of 20 years where he traveled the world. His career was in waste management for 30 years. Philip was a member of SWANA and Fleet Reserve Association. He was loved by many and was never a loss for words. He is survived by his wife, Irma Richmond of Fairhope; sons, Philip Richmond and Don Richmond; daughter, Terry (Michael) Richmond Lowell; grandchildren, Mary Kay, Rick, John Richmond, Leah Lanier, Todd, Matthew Richmond, Cody, Sean and Blair Lowell; ten great grandchildren; brothers, Raymond Richmond (Mimi) and Don Richmond (Kathy). A Celebration of Philip’s life will be held Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Fairhope United Methodist Church beginning at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Covenant Hospice and/or Wounded Warrior Project.
