Willodene Mershon

Willodene Mershon, age 94, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015. She was a member of Fairhope United Methodist Church, the Women’s Auxiliary, and Newcomers Garden Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, C.L Mershon, Jr. and daughter, Caroldeen Mershon Verbeck. Willodene is survived by her son, C.L. “Buzz” Mershon, III and his wife, Brenda of Alpharetta, GA; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Graveside services and interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Montrose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to your favorite charity.
