James Warren Nickerson

James (Jim) Nickerson, 98 years old, of Fairhope AL and a WWII veteran raised sail on his sloop the Genesis and then sailed east to meet his Lord. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Marie Gilmore Nickerson (Duchess) and their children, Holly Hall of Ashburn, VA, Jeffrey Nickerson of Cambridge, Ma, Jill Fallon (Michael) of Dallas, TX, Leslie Nickerson (Jim Rademacher) of Panama City, FL, Lisa Lowenberg of Fairhope, AL; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Herb (Missy) Nickerson of Casper, WY, Charles Nickerson of Ashland, MA, Nina Goodwin of Payson, AZ, Syb Jenkins of Sun City, AZ. Jim was an original member of Christ Anglican Church, 3725 Halls Mill Road, Mobile AL where a memorial service will be conducted on Friday, July 24th at 10:00. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 until time of service. Interment with military honors following at Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort.
