Marion Ojard Thomas

SPANISH FORT Marion Ojard Thomas, age 95, longtime resident of Knife River, MN. passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 in Spanish Fort. She was preceded by her husbands, Adolph N. Ojard, Robert Giddings and John Thomas, her parents, Gust and Hannah Torgersen, brothers, George and John Herbert Torgersen and granddaughter, Berit Ojard. Marion is survived by her sons, William L. (Jeanne) Kendall of Westport, MA., Adolph N. (Leigh) Ojard of Greensboro, GA., Bradley N. (Joni) of Spanish Fort; grandchildren, Courtenay (Scott) Weller, Gretchen (Peter) Vikingson, Dr. Erinn (Michael) Schmit, Dr. Connor (Kristen) Ojard; great-grandchildren, Emma, Mason & Sadie Weller, Bergen & Barrett Vikingson, Theodore Schmit; sister, Evelyn Swanson of Phoenix, AZ and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Interment will be held at a later date in Two Harbors, MN. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made in Marion’s name to Knife River Lutheran Church, P. O. Box 218, Knife River, MN 55609.
