Michael Motyka

Michael John Motyka, age 57, a resident of Wheaton, IL passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015. He was a graduate of McGill-Toolen High School; graduated from Loyola University with a BS in Marketing where he was a men’s soccer team captain and coach for the women’s team. He worked for 30 years in the sugar & sweetener industries. Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Motyka. He is survived by his father, Edmund M. Motyka of Daphne; brother, Stanley (Robin) Motyka of Katy, TX; sisters, Susan (Ronnie) Ankersen of Fairhope, Jane Motyka of Daphne and Jean (Greg) Miller of Daphne; nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Fairhope. The family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass.
