Barbara Ann Bodiford

DAPHNE, AL Barbara Ann Bodiford, age 72, a native of Valdosta, GA., and a longtime resident of Daphne, AL passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015. She was a member of Eastern Shore Baptist Church, Daphne, AL. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, L. C. and Audrey Rumph; brother, Hollis Rumph and sister, Sue Tyner. She is survived by her loving husband, L. Jake Bodiford of Daphne, AL; daughter, Terri (Jay) Walker of Houston, TX.; son, Alan (Eileen) Bodiford of Loxley, AL; three grandchildren, Lauren Fischesser and Christopher Walker both of Houston, TX.; Alan Bodiford, Jr. of Loxley, AL; three sisters, Jean Davis of Long Beach, MS., Pat Godwin of Valdosta, GA., Joyce Ostean of Atlanta, GA.; two brothers, Robert Rumph of Adel, GA., Thomas Rumph of Valdosta, GA. and a host of other loving relatives and friends. A Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be held Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11:00 from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne, AL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
