Beverly Jean Mayhugh Isbell

DAPHNE Beverly Jean Mayhugh Isbell, born in New Orleans, LA on September 29, 1937 and made her home in Daphne, AL. She went home to be with her Lord, on the twenty-ninth of June. Beverly was a member of Daphne Baptist Church and committed to serving her Lord for many years. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Mamie Louise Slay, Father, Lelon Edward Slay, and grandson, Micheal Anthony Isbell. Beverly leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Donald Wayne Isbell of Daphne, AL., one son, Larry Paul (Donna) Isbell of Spanish Fort, AL.; two daughters, Lorrie Ann Isbell, Linda (Jackie) Lambert, all of Daphne, AL.; one sister, Ruby Lee (Mike) Janik of Mobile, AL.; two brothers, Douglas Edward Slay of Buford, GA, Ronald Lee (Ann) Slay of Pensacola, FL., one grandson, Steven Wayne (Kellie) Isbell, one granddaughter, Connie Rene Godwin (Blake) of Bay Minette, AL. and three great-grandsons, Blake Anthony Godwin of Bay Minette, AL., Brooks Michael Isbell and Bennet Paul Isbell all of Spanish Fort, AL. Visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Daphne Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Daphne Baptist Church. Interment will be Friday, July 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Daphne Baptist Church.
