Joseph "Joe" Bullock

Joseph Patrick Bullock, age 51, of Loxley, Alabama passed away on June 15, 2015 from kidney cancer. Joe was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Louis and Theresa Bullock on March 11, 1964. He was the last of nine siblings and called himself the tie-breaker having 4 wonderful older brothers and four loving older sisters. In 1982 he graduated from Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa. He then attended Oklahoma State University and completed his degree in Civil Engineering in 1987. On May 21, 1988, he married the love of his life, Lesli Ann Warren from Edmond, OK. He then worked as a civil engineer in the Mobile area for years. He received his M.B.A. from the University of South Alabama in 1991. In August of 1992, his beloved son, Kellen was born. He worked and was part owner of Engineering Development Services in Daphne, and more recently Preble-Rish. He was very involved in the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce and served on many committees. In 2008-2009 he served as Chairman of the Chamber. Joe believed in serving his community and taking an active part in making it great. He was a valued member and supporter of the Baldwin County Economic Development and Alliance. Joe attended and worshipped at Christ the King Catholic Church. He was a true friend, and believed in life long relationships. He loved all things Oklahoma State, 70’s music, golf, and a good family board game. Joe is preceded in death by his father, Louis Bullock, and mother, Theresa Barter Bullock. Joe is survived by his loving wife, Lesli Bullock; son, Kellen Bullock; eight brothers and sisters: Mary Bullock, Anne Sublett, Louis Bullock and wife Pat, Jim Bullock and wife Ann, George Bullock and wife Jill Campbell, Jenny Miller and husband Scott, Gerald Bullock, Jane Day and husband Lantz; sister-in-law Laura Bullock; beloved nieces and nephews, Stephanie Baker and husband, Chandler, Amy Asbury, Amanda Hurd and husband Jeremy, Libby Sublett, Kaitlin Cores and husband Tommy, Elizabeth Bullock, Laura Pellegrino, Joe Bullock, Molly Bullock, Jenna Buell and husband Ryan, Kylie Campbell and husband Gregg; Carrie Miller, Jonathan Fitzgerald and wife Diana, Whitney Garnai and husband Lesley; numerous close cousins and friends. The family would like to thank the employees of Preble-Rish and Alabama Orthopaedic Clinic for supporting our family through this illness, especially John Avent, Wanda LaCoste, Dr. Tim Revels and staff. We would also like to thank Southern Cancer Center, Dr. Reese Jones, nurse Skyler, Gentiva Hospice, nurses DeeAnna, Faith, his beloved Barter cousins, Joe and Maria Cazalas, Lisa and Jeff Boos and especially Father O’Connor. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Rosary will begin at 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2015 at Christ the King Church in Daphne, AL. Reception will follow at Steelwood Country Club Lodge Number Two. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Baldwin County Boys Ranch, P.O.
