Billie "Sue" Woodard

Billie “Sue” Woodard, age 67, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015. After retiring from the Emperor Clock Company with 30 years of service. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family, traveling and sewing. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Fairhope and an active member in Johnston-Beech Sunday school class. She is survived by her husband, Donald “Woody” Woodard of Fairhope; daughter, Hollie Woodard (Bryant) MacKellar of Fairhope; sister, Sandy Houston of Othello, WA; brother, Bob Ray of Providence Forge, VA; grandchildren, Campbell MacKellar and Audrey Claire MacKellar; a host of nieces, nephew and other relatives. A celebration of Sue’s life will be held Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Fairhope. A reception will be held immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the First Baptist Church Fairhope building fund or UAB Cancer Research Foundation.
