Della Mae Blount

SPANISH FORT Della Mae Blount, age 86, a native of Isola, MS and a resident of Spanish Fort fell asleep and woke in the arms of Jesus Christ, Wednesday, May 20, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy D. Blount; son William D. Blount and grandson, Roy L. Blount, Jr. and Eual Long. Mrs. Della is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Long of Ovette, MS, Charlotte (Nelson) Winters of Spanish Fort; son, Roy (Helen) Blount of Satsuma; daughter-in-law, Shirley Blount of Silverhill; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at New Life Assembly Church in Spanish Fort. The family will receive family and friends from 10:00 – 12:00 pm at the church.
