Jack Douglas Reid

DAPHNE Jack Douglas Reid, age 83, a native of Columbus, OH and a resident of Daphne, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015. Jack was a proud veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp, he retired from Ohio Bell, was avidly involved with motorcycles, he enjoyed card playing. Jack was an avid "Waylon Jennings" music fan and enjoyed bird watching. He is survived by his loving wife, Rose of 58 years; daughters: Sherry (Chris) Alexander and Karen (Matthew) Jayjohn all of Daphne; brothers; Stewart (Alva) Reid of Bristol, TN, Ned (Arlene) Reid of The Villages, FL; grandchildren: Whitney (Evan) Sites, Christopher Reid Alexander, Mallory, Jennifer, Nicole Jayjohn; great-grandchild: Emmett Sites. A Celebration of Jack’s life will be held Friday, May 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. His family will receive family and friends one hour prior to service.
